Mathematical Curiosities

This collection of mysterious mathematical devices is our own creation and something we’ve sold successfully for years, but the mathematical anomalies exploited are still relatively unknown and remain always intriguing.
We’ve recently repackaged (beautifully, even if we do say so ourselves) and added a clever new set of dice to the original components – all of which deserve further explanation:
Addition Dice
Five special dice showing three digit numbers on each face are thrown to choose five random numbers. Adding these numbers together would normally take a few minutes or require the help of a calculator, but a clever technique allows the user to perform the maths in seconds.
Magic Calculator
The four square sticks are laid side by side to form rows of four digit numbers. As with the Addition Dice above, the sum of any combination of these figures can be calculated in seconds using a secret technique.
Magic Number Cards / Think of a Number Cards
Two sets of special cards that use different mathematical anomalies, allowing the user to determine numbers that have been secretly chosen by a second person.
